Accessibility isn't an afterthought here — it's how we build. Our site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA so every visitor can find what they need.
Effective date: May 3, 2026 | Last updated: May 25, 2026
Park Place Realty works with Hispanic families in Las Vegas — which includes people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities. If our site isn't accessible to you, we can't serve you. That's unacceptable, and we treat it as a service problem, not just a legal one.
What accessibility standards does this site follow?
Accessibility built in from day one — not bolted on at the end.
Web accessibility isn't something we tack on at the end — it's part of how we build the site from day one. Every design and build decision is made with accessibility in mind from the start, not as later remediation.
We target compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA published by the W3C. WCAG 2.2 AA is the internationally recognized standard, aligned with section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act, with ADA Title III as interpreted by current DOJ guidance, and with the Fair Housing Act in the context of real estate services.
Current status
We're actively working toward full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. Here's what's already in place.
Semantic HTML
Landmarks (header, nav, main, article, aside, footer) on every page, with proper heading hierarchy and ARIA labels.
Keyboard navigation
The entire site is usable without a mouse. A skip link at the start of every page lets you jump straight to main content.
Color contrast
All text and interactive elements verified against WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements.
Touch targets
Minimum 44×44 pixels on all interactive elements — buttons, links, form controls.
Alt text
All informative images carry descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
Form labels
Every form field has a visible label properly associated with its input — no placeholder-only patterns.
Motion design
Animations are kept short and purposeful. No continuous parallax, no auto-playing infinite scroll. Decorative motion uses brief opacity and position fades rather than rotating or zooming transforms.
No accessibility overlays
We don't use products like AccessiBe, UserWay, or similar. Overlays mask problems instead of solving them. Accessibility is built into the underlying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Language attributes are set correctly on every page (HTML lang), ensuring screen readers use the right pronunciation rules for English and Spanish content.
Tools we use to audit
We verify accessibility using a combination of automated tools and manual testing:
- axe-core — automated analysis in CI
- Lighthouse — comprehensive audits
- WAVE — visual inspection during development
- WebAIM Contrast Checker — color contrast verification
- Screen reader testing — VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA (Windows)
- Keyboard-only testing — no mouse, on every critical flow
- 200% zoom testing — content remains readable and functional
How do I report an accessibility barrier?
We're committed to continuous improvement. Here's what we know about — and how you can help.
Known limitations
- Some historical PDFs may not be in accessible format. If you need information in an alternative format, contact us and we'll deliver it.
- Embedded videos: we work to ensure every video has captions in English and Spanish. If you find a video without captions, please report it.
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility problem anywhere on the site — a button that doesn't respond to keyboard, an image without alt text, insufficient contrast, difficulty with a screen reader, or anything else — we want to know. Please include:
- The specific URL where the problem occurred
- A description of what you were trying to do
- What assistive technology (if any) you were using — screen reader, magnifier, etc.
- Your browser and operating system
Don't hesitate to report. We respond to accessibility reports within 5 business days and prioritize them by severity. Critical barriers — those preventing completion of a transaction — get resolved before incremental improvements. Every report makes the site better for everyone.
